Flau’jae Johnson has become one of the most recognizable faces in college basketball. Her on-court prowess has enchanted many fans, making them her lifelong fans. Apart from hooping, Johnson has successfully carved a space for herself in the hip-hop world.

She has signed a distribution deal with Jay-Z’s record label, Roc Nation. Johnson has released many tracks that have garnered thousands of views from her fans. Their feedback has always mattered to her, which is why when a fan dedicated a tweet to her on X, Johnson replied to it.

The fan wrote that Flau’jae was incredibly talented, to which she replied:

 

“I’m soooo happy y’all appreciate my r&b side!!”

Johnson announced that she will release an album on June 21.

In February, Flau’jae Johnson, who has a NIL valuation of $1.2 million (per On3), released an R&B track called “4 Your Love.” The song reached 100,000 views on YouTube in less than a week.

The LSU star hooper attended the JBL Orange Carpet and the party on Saturday in New York. She uploaded a series of pictures and videos on Instagram. Johnson went to a store to choose her outfit for the event.

She chose short cargo pants, an olive green button-down paired with the same colored bralette and black sneakers. After buying the haul, she got her makeup done by a professional makeup artist.

Flau’jae then made her way to the orange carpet and expressed her excitement after seeing the Empire State Building covered in orange lighting.

Johnson has been on the move throughout the off-season, as she attended several other events and even dropped new music. Along with promoting her music, she also talked about how she uses the Mamba mentality to her advantage.

Johnson will return to college basketball with the LSU Lady Tigers for another year. It is to be seen if she declares for the 2025 WNBA draft or decides to focus solely on her music career.
