Earlier this week, there was a rumor going around suggesting that the NFL could move the Buffalo Bills-Pittsburgh Steelers game to another site because of weather concerns.

The rumor suggested that the NFL could relocate the 1:00 p.m. Sunday game to Cleveland. The Cleveland Browns’ home venue, Cleveland Browns Stadium, is available since Kevin Stefanski’s group will be playing on the road this Saturday against the Houston Texans.

But according to CBS NFL insider Jonathan Jones, the rumor about the Bills-Steelers game getting moved to Cleveland carries “zero truth.” Per Matthew Bové of WKBW, the league also confirmed that the rumor is untrue.

The current forecast for the Bills-Steelers contest calls for freezing windy conditions at kickoff, with snow showers by the end of the game.

Relocating a game out of Buffalo wouldn’t have been a first for Josh Allen and company. You may recall that the Bills-Browns Week 11, 2022 game was moved to the Detroit Lions’ home venue of Ford Field because of snowstorm conditions in Orchard Park.

The Bills stole the AFC East from the Miami Dolphins after reeling off five straight wins to close out the regular season, including a Week 18 victory in South Beach to secure the No. 2 seed. As for the Steelers, they closed out the season on a three-game winning streak and snuck in as a wild card team thanks to the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Week 18 loss to the Tennessee Titans.
