Kylie Jenner said she has made an important decision about the two children she shares with her ex, Travis Scott.

The 27-year-old reality star, who is mum to six-year-old Stormi and two-year-old Aire, said she wants to keep them protected from social media for “as long as possible.” She said that any details or photos shared of her children have to come from her or her children’s father – and said she hopes the kids won’t have their own social media accounts “until they move out of the house.”

The Kylie Cosmetics founder said: “When I do share my children, I want it to come from me or their father. It’s no socials for as long as possible.” However, during an interview with ELLE, she revealed that her eldest child has seemed to find a way to work around the rule, saying: “Stormi will come home and she’ll know full TikTok dances. I’m like, ‘Where did you learn this?”

While she is keen to keep her children safe online and away from social media until they are older, Kylie enjoys posting some insights into their life. On Tuesday, she shared a drawing of a dog, made by her daughter, which read: “I love you mommy, I miss you mommy.” She also shared another photo of Stormi’s artwork, an orange cat, which she captioned: “My daughter is an artist.”

Kylie was just 19 when she fell pregnant with Stormi. In an interview with British Vogue, she revealed: “Stormi wasn’t planned. It happened, but obviously I knew that I wanted to have her. I wanted children so bad.” Detailing her journey to motherhood, the mum-of-two explained: “I was 19 when I got pregnant, 20 when I had her… It was wild… Looking back at it, I give myself more empathy and grace. But when I was a teenager, even my family were like: ‘You aren’t that young.'”

She added: “I think maybe I carried myself [a certain way] or I’d already been working for 10 years. It didn’t hit me [straight away]. But it was a huge life change.” After giving birth, twice, Kylie fell into a long period of postpartum depression. Stormi’s lasted a year… Aire’s around the same length of time. I’m going to be 27, and I’m finally feeling like myself again, and [looking back] I think, being pregnant, I wore sweatpants every day, I didn’t have time to figure out even some of the little things in my life, and then postpartum lasted a year. Mentally, it’s really hard. Hormonally, it’s really hard. I didn’t know how to dress,” she revealed, speaking to Vogue from Manhattan.

Kylie opened up about the abuse she received for being a young mum, but hasn’t let it get the better of her. She said: “No matter what I’m going through or what I look like or what the internet writes about me that day. I come home and my kids just love me unconditionally.

“They’re just obsessed with me and that’s taught me to walk through life a little easier. I’m like, ‘OK, well I have these little humans at home that need me and love me and think I’m the most perfect person in the world, so I don’t really need validation from outside sources.'”
