Kirk Cousins is not going to have some help in the passing attack.

One day after signing the veteran quarterback, the Atlanta Falcons went out and signed a wide receiver.

Former Chicago Bears wide receiver and current unrestricted free agent, Darnell Mooney, is signing with the Falcons. He is getting a three-year, $39 million contract with $26 million fully guaranteed.

The Chiefs reportedly had some interest in Mooney, but he ultimately chose to head to Chicago.

Mooney is coming off a four-year, $3.56 million rookie deal. He declined a three-year extension with the Bears ahead of the 2023 season.

The 26-year-old had 414 receiving yards and a touchdown on 31 receptions this past season. He will be a nice addition to a Falcons squad that is looking to make some noise in 2024.
