The New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is not backing down from the Jimmy Kimmel controversy. After Rodgers made the insensitive joke connecting Kimmel to Jeffrey Epstein‘s alleged sex-trafficking ring, ESPN executive Mike Foss issued a statement, apologizing for the Jets QB’s ‘dumb’ joke.

And now, the 40-year-old signal-caller has slammed the senior executive over his stance during Tuesday’s episode of ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show.

I don’t understand the Mike Foss comment, and he didn’t help out either

Following Rodgers’ joke last week, ESPN executive Mike Foss issued a statement apologizing on behalf of the network. Foss called Rodgers’ joke as ‘dumb’ and ‘factually inaccurate’ and he should’ve never happened.

Aaron made a dumb and factually inaccurate joke about Jimmy Kimmel. It should never have happened. We all realized that in the moment

Last Tuesday, the former All-Pro Jets QB Aaron Rodgers insinuated that the 56-year-old ABC show host is connected to Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking ring, which caused a massive controversy. Later, Jimmy Kimmel threatened to take legal action against Rodgers and denied the accusations. Since ABC and ESPN are both owned by Disney, the issue is seen as an internal struggle between the two big networks.

Aaron Rodgers goes on a rant against Mike Foss

After ESPN apologized for his joke, the Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers went on a rant against the 35-year-old senior executive Mike Foss. Furthermore, he also blamed the ‘woke establishment’ and media for trying to cancel him for having unconventional views.

Mike [Foss], you’re not helping. I just read earlier exactly what I said. This is the game plan of the media. This is what they do. They try and cancel. It’s not just me. It’s nowhere near just me.

Furthermore, the veteran signal-caller also claimed that the establishment has painted a wrong narrative that he is an anti-vaxxer and a MAGA supporter.

I mentioned all the names that I’ve been called, and they don’t stick, because I’m not anti-vax. I’m interested in informed consent, and things that are in the best interest of my body. I’m not a MAGA.

Furthermore, in his lengthy rant, Rodgers also said that he doesn’t know who Foss is and he certainly doesn’t work for him. This is the second ESPN executive who has been on the receiving end of criticism from McAfee’s show.

Just a few days ago, McAfee accused ESPN executive Norby Williamson of trying to sabotage his show from the inside. And now, Rodgers has launched an attack on another senior executive. It’s safe to say, the relationship between McAfee and the network is not going the right way.
