‘America is waking up’, say NFL fans after seeing reaction to Taylor Swift on jumbo

NFL fans appear to be growing tired of seeing Taylor Swift at games

THE Taylor Swift effect appears to have finally worn off of NFL fans.

Swift made yet another appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game, but this time didn’t get the warm welcome she was used to.

The Chiefs traveled to New England to take on the Patriots, and Swift sat in a box to watch her boyfriend and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce play.

Gillette Stadium – located in Foxborough, Massachusetts, about an hour southwest of Boston – put her up on the jumbotron to welcome her to the stadium when boos rained down from Patriots fans.

Swift appeared amused by the boos though, and waved them off with a smile.

Who knows if the boos were because she was rooting for the enemy team or if NFL fans are just tired of seeing Swift broadcast across the league every week.

“Massive boo’s from Gillette as Taylor swift comes on the jumbo, America is waking up,” one fan said on X, formerly Twitter.

“Dude that was awesome my section was strictly boos,” another fan said.

Other fans thought it was sad that an entire stadium rallied to boo one person.

“That’s pathetic what did she do?” a comment said.

“I would just boo him back. So unnecessary. She is doing NOTHING,” another comment said.

Swift and Kelce’s names were first linked in July when Kelce expressed his disappointment at being unable to meet and give the singer his number.

She first appeared at a Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears and things ramped up from there.

They started to be seen publicly together in October and are now officially dating.

Swift made her first comments to Time magazine about their relationship and how important going to Kelce’s games is.

“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” Swift said.

“The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
