LSU star hooper Flau’jae Johnson went on a Tinder date for the first time.

The college basketball star and rapper uploaded a video on her Instagram account, detailing her date, which she set through the dating app.

“I’m going on a date later today,” Johnson said. “I’m super excited but I’m kinda nervous because this is my first time doing this.

“I’m going on another date. I matched again on Tinder. So, here I am just walking up to the studio I’m low-key nervous. Then my Tinder date arrived. … We chatted for a little bit and then just started working on some music.”

The face of her date was hidden throughout her video for privacy reasons. She said “she had so much fun” and that it was “cool” for her to get off the campus and do something fun.

The LSU hooper, who has a NIL valuation of $1.2 million (according to On3 Sports) and is known for her fierce persona on the court, did not tell her fans if she would meet her Tinder date again.

Flau’jae Johnson got inspired by Angel Reese’s decision to go pro

On April 16, Flau’jae Johnson saw her teammate, Angel Reese, get drafted into the WNBA, taken by the Chicago Sky with the seventh pick. Seeing that ignited a fire in Johnson.

Johnson said she was happy to see Reese get drafted by the Sky and called the three-time All-American “legendary” for her contribution to the LSU Tigers.

“It has definitely fired me, like, she was literally my teammate in college, and now she is pursuing her dream in the draft, which is also a dream of mine,” Johnson told Kevin Hart on “NBA Unplugged.” “When her name got called, I felt, like, it was a win for everybody. I was so proud of her. I told her congratulations.”

Flau’jae Johnson will be returning to LSU in the hopes of leading the team to a national championship.
