Recently, Johnson shared that she bought a new Mercedes AMG G63. She and the LSU ended their season on April 1 with a 94-87 loss to the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Elite Eight of March Madness.
As a guard for LSU and a talented rapper, she concluded her season with impressive statistics, averaging 14.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists, with a field-goal percentage of 50.4%. Her impact was crucial in guiding the Tigers to the Elite Eight.
Flau’jae Johnson and Paige Bueckers bonded with each other over a fun training session
The LSU star, who has a NIL valuation of $1.2 million (as per On3 Sports), is one of college basketball’s most talented players. Paige Bueckers of the UConn Huskies is also highly regarded as a top women’s basketball hooper. The two were brought together by Overtime for promotional activities.
Bueckers and Flau’jae Johnson took part in fun activities, mostly involving basketball. The two also taught each other their unique moves, which can be useful in the future. While teaching Bueckers one of her tricks, Johnson held herself back in order to not show all of her trump cards.
“Just a little sauce,” Johnson said. “I can’t teach you everything. When I play you, you’re going to know my moves.”
Johnson and Bueckers delivered standout performances throughout the 2023–24 women’s basketball season by playing a vital role in their teams’ success.
Flau’jae Johnson played an important role for LSU following their national championship victory in the previous season. Despite initial challenges with teammates, they resolved any issues and formed a cohesive bond on the court.
