RIHANNA REVISITS CIARA SPAT, SPILLS SECRET ABOUT HER TROLLING WAYS. Detail in the comment

Rihanna has reflected on her famous social media spat with fellow singer Ciara, joking that she had fun as an internet troll.

In a new Interview magazine cover story, the Barbadian star was asked about her previous reign as a clap back queen.

“Do you miss being on the internet, like really on the internet? Like, ‘Good luck booking that stage you speak of’ internet? Because you were so good at it,” asked Rih’s longtime stylist and editor-in-chief of Interview magazine, Mel Ottenberg.

Rihanna replied: “The troll in me, she had a time. Unfortunately, you can’t take anything back from the internet, so I will always have the reminders, but the best troll in me is the silent troll.”

More than a decade has passed since Rihanna and Ciara engaged in a fiery Twitter exchange, which began when the latter recounted an unpleasant encounter with the “Umbrella” singer while appearing as a guest judge on E!’s Fashion Police in 2011.

“I ran into her recently at a party and she wasn’t the nicest and it’s crazy because I’ve always loved and respected what she’s done with fashion,” she said at the time. “I’ve ran into her before, but this time it wasn’t the most pleasant run-in.”

After catching wind of the critique, Rih retaliated by tweeting: “My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #howrudeofme.”

The two then traded barbs, with Ciara replying: “Trust me Rhianna u dont want to see me on or off the stage.”

“U gangsta huh? Haaa,” RiRi hit back, before adding: “Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of.”

The back-and-forth ended with a sarcastic apology from the Fenty X Savage: “Ciara baby, I love u girl! U hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I’m heartbroken! That’s y I retaliated this way! So sorry! #letsmakeup.”

Though their names are seldom mentioned in the same sentence these days, it appears that Rihanna and Ciara have been able to keep it cordial since then. In 2018, Ci gave the ANTI singer a shout out on her 30th birthday.

“Happy Birthday @Rihanna Remembering the 1st time we met. It’s been cool to see you kill it! Keep on soaring ma!” she tweeted.

Later that year, RiRi appeared to return the favor by singing Ciara’s hit single “Goodies” at a karaoke bar.
