Tyla’s just announced a remix for her hit song, ‘Water’ but fans hope it won’t feature US singer Chris Brown.

South African singer, Tyla is the talk of the town this week as fans speculate which major artist she’s managed to recruit for her hit song, Water.

It’s hard to believe how far Tyla has come in the past year. She’s gone from being an exciting young talent, to a fully-fledged star who has released one of the biggest songs of the year across the globe. Water is instantly catchy and has won many listeners in the short while since its release. Now it looks as if the journey is about to go even further after the singer teased that a remix for the mega-single is on its way!

TYLA CONFIRMS ‘WATER’ REMIX – BUT WHO’S FEATURING?

The original version of Water is well on its way to 50 million views on YouTube and looks set to be one of the biggest hits of the summer in the coming weeks. It’s also got a good chance of potentially being named as the highly coveted ‘Song of the Year’ on numerous radio stations due to its chart-topping success. While we’re all enjoying the original, it looks as if a remix is not far away.

Tyla took to her social platforms where she shared an update with two pictures. The first was a picture of her back, with letter ‘T’ pendant draped around her upper-torso. In a second picture was a blurred-out piece of paper where we could make out the words “Water (Remix)” but without much else context. She merely captioned the post “Guess Who?” prompting a flurry of speculation as to who could be featuring alongside her.

‘IT BETTER NOT BE CHRIS BROWN!’

As fans guessed and speculated who the artist would be, some of her most loyal followers began to hope it was not R&B star, Chris Brown. The American hitmaker has had a past checkered with controversy, including multiple assault cases and several more unflattering incidents. One concerned fan began by hinting “It better not be Chris Brown!” before another joked, “If it’s Chris Brown then don’t release it baby.”

Tyla has not hinted whether the artist on the remix will be local or international, but as long as it’s not Chris Brown, it appears as if the majority of her fanbase will be content! Who would you want to see on the remix?
