Ariana Grande is one of the most popular, successful, and reliable musicians in the pop genre at the moment. She never fails to produce a smash every time she has a new album out, and this latest era of her career has further solidified her status as a powerhouse and a chart-topper.

It didn’t take very long for Grande’s current single “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” to become a Hot 100 No. 1 hit. Now, only a short time after the tune was named a certified smash on a handful of Billboard charts, it’s risen to the summit on another list–and it’s become a historic new ruler for the singer.

“We Can’t Be Friends” jumps to No. 1 on this week’s Pop Airplay chart. Billboard publishes the list every frame to illustrate which tunes earn the largest number of total audience impressions, which are racked up by being played more and more by top 40 pop stations throughout the U.S.

Grande earns her milestone tenth No. 1 hit on the Pop Airplay chart this frame. She’s now tied for the fifth-most champions of all time on the list, and she’s matched with some very familiar company.

As “We Can’t Be Friends” hits the top spot, Grande ties Justin Bieber, as both musicians have accrued exactly 10 winners. Bieber and Grande teamed up a few years ago for the single “Stuck with U,” which debuted atop the Hot 100, giving both stars another No. 1 on that tally.

Before “We Can’t Be Friends” reached the peak position, Grande was matched with both Bruno Mars and Pink. Those two stars are steady with their nine leaders each, though either could increase that total at any point when they release more music.
