Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow had reporter Melissa Star giggling when he called her “baby” after beating the Bills.

Burrow fired Cincy to a 24-18 win over Buffalo that saw the Bengals improve to 5-3 and set off another Stefon Diggs outburst. But he suffered a nasty finger injury on the night, leaving fans a bit worried.

The QB was asked about the damage on the sideline after the game, with Stark conducting the interview. And his response has since gone viral.

“Just a little scratch. That’s football, baby,” he said, getting a giggle out of Stark before coolly walking away.

Sounds about right on brand.

Joe completed 31 out of his 44 passing attempts on Sunday night, registering 348 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

“We made plays. They do a good job on defense disguising coverages, giving us different looks, bringing pressures and disguising those,” he told reporters after the game. “So, you have to be ready to adjust and adapt on the fly. I thought we did that really well today.”

He also insisted that the injury did not affect how he threw the ball.

The Bengals will host the Houston Texans at their Paycor Stadium next Sunday.
