Beyoncé’s mother seemingly weighed in — then clarified she was “hacked” — in regards to liking a post about the rape allegations against her son-in-law, Jay-Z.
Shortly after the “Empire State Of Mind” rapper, 55, was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl alongside Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2000 — which he denied — Tina Knowles double-tapped a post that highlighted the bombshell allegations.
Tina liked a post shared by ABC 7 Chicago with the caption reading, “Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs are accused of raping a then-13-year-old girl at an afterparty following the 2000 Video Music Awards, according to an amended civil lawsuit filed Sunday.”

The Instagram post also featured a photo of Jay-Z and Diddy with the headline: “Breaking News: Jay-Z, Diddy Named in Lawsuit Alleging Rape of Girl, 13.”
Tina later claimed she was hacked, taking to social media with a screenshot of her notes reading, “I was hacked! As you all know I don’t play with my family. So if you see something uncharacteristic of me . Just know that it is not me !”
“Please stop playing with me !!!! ‘No weapon formed against my family shall prosper,’” Beyoncé’s mom captioned the post.

On Sunday, Jay-Z was named as a defendant in a lawsuit originally filed against Diddy in October.
In the amended complaint filed in New York on Dec. 8, the woman — identified only as Jane Doe — claimed the music moguls raped her at an afterparty following the MTV Video Music Awards in 2000 while an unnamed female celebrity watched.
The Roc Nation founder married Beyoncé in 2008.

After being named in the lawsuit, the “99 Problems” rapper vehemently denied the “heinous” allegations against him, calling the lawsuit a “blackmail attempt.” He also vowed to fight the legal battle and demanded that Jane Doe reveal her identity.
Jay-Z also addressed his wife and children, saying, “My only heartbreak is for my family.”

He said that he and Beyoncé are now forced to “sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of young people.”
“I mourn yet another loss of innocence. Children should not have to endure such at their young age. It is unfair to have to try to understand inexplicable degrees of malice meant to destroy families and human spirit,” the statement, posted on Roc Nation’s X account (formerly Twitter), read.

“These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree?” Jay-Z continued.
“These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case,” the statement continued. “You have made a terrible error in judgement thinking that all ‘celebrities’ are the same. I’m not from your world. I’m a young man who made it out of the project of Brooklyn. We don’t play these types of games. We have very strict codes and honor. We protect children, you seem to exploit people for personal gain. Only your network of conspiracy theorists, fake physics, will believe the idiotic claims you have levied against me that, if not for the seriousness surrounding harm to kids, would be laughable.”

In her lawsuit, Jane Doe claimed she was approached by Combs’ alleged limo driver, who invited her to an afterparty while she tried to get into the 2000 VMAs in New York City. When she got to the afterparty residence, she alleged she was asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
At some point during the afterparty, Jane Doe said she was allegedly drugged after being served a drink and “held down by Carter as he vaginally raped her, while Combs and Celebrity B watched. After Carter finished, he stepped back toward the wall. Combs then stepped forward and vaginally raped Plaintiff while Carter and Celebrity B watched.”
Diddy has been behind bars since September after being arrested on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. His trial is scheduled for May 2025.
