The Baltimore Ravens have released a significant injury update regarding star tight end Mark Andrews.

Andrews has been out since he sustained a cracked fibula, as well as ankle ligament damage, during a Week 11 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. He is likely to return in time for the AFC Championship Game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network is reporting that the TE was close to coming back ahead of the Divisional Round game against the Houston Texans.

“The target was always the AFC title game. It was just really on Baltimore to get there,” Rapoport explained on Wednesday. “They are now there. They are one of these final four teams. Mark Andrews is expected to play, to make his dramatic comeback, barring a setback.”

Andrews registered 45 receptions for 544 yards and six touchdowns in 10 games before getting injured. Isaiah Likely, a second-year TE, has stepped up since the injury, making 30 catches for 411 yards and five scores in the regular season.

He added another TD against the Texans on Saturday.
