Aaron Donald has made his final decision.

On Friday, the Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle announced his retirement from the league.

After the 2021 season, Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald leveraged a retirement threat into a three-year deal. This time around, he is serious and is officially hanging up his cleats.

With it being the final year of Donald’s contract and his future unclear, rumors of retirement came out again. Following the Super Bowl win, Donald said that he had only ever planned on playing for eight years. The Super Bowl season would have been his eighth year.

Over his ten seasons, he has accumulated 111 sacks, 176 tackles for loss, 260 QB hits, and forced 24 fumbles on his way to being named First-Team All-Pro eight times and making 10 the Pro Bowl in each of his 10 seasons.

He is certainly headed to the Hall of Fame.
