Following her rookie season in the WNBA, Los Angeles Sparks star Cameron Brink spent some time out of the country, traveling to Paris, France.

While Brink was in Paris, her now-fiance, Ben Felter, proposed to her. The Sparks star posted a few pictures of the announcement on social media, including a photo of Felter kneeling down to propose and a few photos after the engagement.

Upon the release of the photos, Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark responded to Brink’s announcement.

The young star posted four heart emojis, reacting to Brink’s life-changing news.

While Brink was wreaking havoc in the WNBA prior to her ACL injury midway through the season, Felter was finishing his last year at Stanford University.

Felter is also an athlete, previously competing on the men’s rowing team at Stanford. He started his journey on the rowing team in 2020 and went on to compete all four years with the Cardinals.

According to LinkedIn, Felter is now a researcher at the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. He’s been working at the facility since May 2023.

Before Brink’s WNBA rookie year was cut short 15 games into the season, she was competing for the Rookie of the Year award, mainly battling Caitlin Clark and Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese.

The 6-foot-4 star averaged 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. While she was active, she led the league with 2.3 blocks per game.
