A trio of Kansas City Chiefs fans are reported to have been found dead, having succumbed to harsh conditions earlier this month.

The three men, Ricky Johnson, aged 38, 36-year-old Clayton BcGeeney, and David Harrington, who was 37, had gotten together to watch the Chiefs-Chargers game in a friend’s backyard in KC, Missouri on January 7. Their frozen bodies were found two days later.

 

The authorities do not suspect foul play, and no arrests have been made in connection to the discovery, with police telling FOX News Digital that the matter is not being treated as a homicide at the moment.
“First and foremost, this case is 100% NOT being investigated as a homicide,” Captain Jake Becchina of the Kansas City Police Department said.

“There have not been any arrests [or] charges, and no one is in custody. There are no specific threats or concerns for the surrounding community at this time,” Becchina said. “The resident at the house was cooperative with detectives the day the deceased were discovered.”

Two of the men were found in the yard while one was on a backyard porch. As to whether any substances were involved is unclear at this time.

 

The Chiefs played one of the coldest games in NFL history at their Arrowhead Stadium just over a week ago, beating the Miami Dolphins under frigid conditions that saw multiple players treated for frostbite. Reports noted that 15 fans were hospitalized.
