Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden had all eyes on her as she showed up to the final on Sunday wearing a daring dress.

The 53-year-old radio star is known for her risqué outfits and was previously hit with Ofcom complaints due to her outfits. On Sunday evening, she appeared on stage alongside her fellow judges Simon Cowell, Bruno Tonioli and Alesha Dixon, but many viewers were distracted by her silver look.

Amanda rocked a dramatic silver dress with a plunging neckline with a transparent bottom half. She took to her Instagram Stories to joke about her wardrobe and said it was Bruno’s turn to accidentally flash people. In a behind-the-scenes video, Amanda pushed up her boobs with her hands as she pouted at the camera.

Bruno, who was standing next to her, made sure to unbutton his white shirt as he also pouted at the camera. Amanda looked amused as she pointed at his chest. She captioned the post: “#NippleGate but for once… it’s not me,” and tagged the Strictly Come Dancing star.

During the final, fans were distracted by her look and rushed to social media to discuss her outfit. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “Considering it’s a family show… Amanda Holden wears the most inappropriate outfits!!! #BGT.” Another added: “What’s Amanda nearly wearing?? #bgt” A third person said: “I hope Amanda Holden is ok – she is dressed for open-heart surgery #BGT #BritainsGotTalent.”

Others teased the complaints Amanda might receive as one said: “Wonder how many complaints there will be about Amanda’s dress tonight? #BGT.” Another added: “Cue the few complaints about Amanda’s attire..” In 2020, Amanda received 235 Ofcom complaints for her plunging navy gown, which viewers slammed as being “too revealing” for a family programme. In 2017, a Julien MacDonald dress – costing a whopping £11,250 – also sparked fury with its low neckline. It attracted 663 Ofcom complaints – the most complained about TV moment that year.

Amanda has previously addressed complaints over her outfits and slammed those who had ‘too much time on their hands’. Discussing the backlash that she has received over the years, she commented in an interview last year: “It’s nothing, people have too much time on their hands.”

Earlier this series, Amanda wore a ‘naked dress’ for the semi-final shows. Amanda also spoke about her style in an interview last month with Women’s Health magazine. Whilst promoting her collaboration with brand Lipsy, she said that she’s “lucky” to have opportunities to “wear sparkles and big old frocks”.
