Caitlin Clark And Angel Reese Have Social Media Going Wild After Posing For Photo Together Ahead Of WNBA Draft (PO)

Caitlin Clark, the transcendent Iowa superstar, will join the Indiana Fever as the No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft as Angel Reese can find herself somewhere in the top 5 or 7 in the draft.

Weeks ago, the two stars faced off against each other during their final time in college. This time around, Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes defeated Angel Reese and the LSU Tigers in the Elite 8, which was a rematch of the National Championship game from the previous season.

Reese had made it abundantly clear that she and Caitlin Clark did not dislike each other despite what people online or in the media thought about their relationship.

The two of them further proved that notion when both stars, along with Cameron Brink, Dyaisha Fair, Marquesha Davis, and Aaliyah Edwards, took a viral picture together when they visited the iconic Empire State Building in New York City.

Many of the women, including Reese, could be seen holding up a peace sign while Clark was smiling in the middle.

“Whole lotta buckets at the Empire State Building,” Reese wrote as her caption on Instagram.

Caitlin Clark, who is projected to be selected No. 1 by the Indiana Fever, is coming off a record-setting season that saw the Iowa superstar lifting her sport to new heights, setting records for TV ratings and ticket prices.

Caitlin Clark and the Hawkeyes broke the all-time viewership record in three straight NCAA Tournament games. In March, she became the NCAA men’s and women’s all-time leader by passing “Pistol” Pete Maravich.

Despite the accolades, Clark could never bring home a National Championship, but her time in college basketball will never be forgotten.

The Caitlin Clark effect will have the WNBA showing 36 of the Indiana Fever’s 40 games on its national broadcast. Last year, the Fever only had 22 of their games shown nationally.

She will not only be must-see television, but fans are expected to pack arenas home and away.
