Caitlin Clark had fans buzzing with what she did before the Indiana Fever surprised her on her birthday.

On X, the team shared a video of the staff and coaches’ heartwarming gesture to celebrate the WNBA star’s special day.

In the clip, the Fever guard, who had just finished a workout session, was surprised when she was greeted with a birthday song to celebrate her 23rd birthday.

“Our coaches and front office sang happy birthday to @caitlinclark22 after her workout today,” the caption read.

At one point, she jokingly asked whether they had waited for her that long, clearly surprised by the heartfelt celebration.

The comment section was filled with birthday wishes from fans; however, some also noticed one surprising detail about Clark.

Fans couldn’t help but react to her unmatched work ethic and mention that she was still working even on her birthday.

“No days off until the job is done,” one commented.

“Birthday workout? Classic CC!!” a second fan remarked.

“I know what was made on that video. On her birthday, she was still working on her game, that’s why we love her. Happy birthday, future GOAT…” another user added.

The same goes for a commenter who said, “My GOAT training on her birthday.”

Fans also referenced Kobe Bryant’s iconic term, which refers to a mindset of dedication, a desire to continuously improve, and hard work.

“@CaitlinClark22 definitely has that black mamba mentality,” a user wrote, while another added, “Bloody knew it, she’s built differently… NO DAYS OFF.”

In addition to her Fever family, the WNBA standout received birthday wishes from her friend, Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton and his girlfriend, Jade Jones.

The couple shared a throwback photo featuring Clark and her boyfriend Connor McCaffrey, who also wrote a heartfelt message for the birthday girl.
