Caitlin Clark JUST SHOCKED the WNBA With This SECRET Strategy! (PO)

Caitlin Clark entered the WNBA with a ton of pressure on her shoulders. Aside from the burden of being the 2024 No. 1 overall pick, the Indiana Fever rookie also faces expectations to perform at a high level and dominate immediately, just as she did in college.

Fortunately for Clark, she has a supportive teammate in Aliyah Boston, who is there to guide her through the ups and downs of her rookie season.

While the media hype and attention on Caitlin Clark in the WNBA has been unprecedented, Aliyah Boston knows what it’s like to be a No. 1 pick. The Fever made her the top overall selection in 2023, and she delivered by winning Rookie of the Year.

Boston has taken it upon herself to advise Clark on handling the pressure. When asked in a Q&A on X (formerly Twitter) about the advice she has given Clark, Boston said, “To just be her and to also give herself grace.”

Aliyah Boston’s advice resonates deeply for Caitlin Clark, emphasizing the importance of focusing on personal growth and not letting external expectations dictate her journey. Clark understands that developing her game in the WNBA is a gradual process that involves navigating through a learning curve and adapting to the heightened competition. This mindset allows her to approach challenges with patience and determination, ensuring she continues to evolve and excel in her rookie season and beyond.

So far, it looks like Caitlin Clark has been following Aliyah Boston’s advice. While it has been an up-and-down season for her, Clark isn’t letting the pressure get to her. She’s averaging 16.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game, keeping her firmly in contention for the Rookie of the Year honor.
