In an Instagram post on Saturday, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark shared a heartfelt message to her boyfriend Connor McCaffery for his birthday:

“Happy Birthday Con! Celebrating you is easy 🙂 thankful to have someone as selfless and as loving as you in my life,” Clark wrote. “May this be the year you finally find a way to outshoot me 😉 Love you always.”

Currently in Minnesota where her Fever will face the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday afternoon, Clark could not be with her boyfriend on his birthday. In an Instagram story post from comedian Theo Von, McCaffery was seen partying in Las Vegas, which Clark fans have taken major issue with:

It seems many of the upset fans have taken issue with the women around McCaffery at this Las Vegas party, believing it is a bad look for Clark’s boyfriend to be publicly seen in this setting.

Considering the video of McCaffery was initially posted to Theo Von’s Instagram story with 6.8M followers, it is unlikely Clark’s boyfriend was trying to hide anything, but the Fever star’s fans are not happy.
