Caitlin Clark had a rough night at the office on Monday.
Her Indiana Fever squad were demolished by the Connecticut Sun by a score of 89-72.
Clark only played 22 minutes and scored 10 points on just 8 shots taken. But what was most surprising about Clark’s box score is that she only took two free throws.
While the Sun only took five more free throws than Indiana in the game, a comment that Clark made at one point in the brutal loss shows that she didn’t think the game was being called fairly.

After a timeout was called in the game, Clark turned to a referee and said, “come on, help me out”.
The resulting video of Clark doing so has gone viral on social media.
WNBA fans are empathizing with the former Iowa Hawkeye on social media.
“yeah because she’s getting hammered every play. Come on help me out here is something i’ve said to refs 100x,” one fan wrote.
Clark clearly realized she’d need some assistance from the referees, her Fever teammates, or from her preferred deity if she had any hope of winning on Monday.
