Cardi B and Ice Spice have officially put to rest any rumors of discord between them, as confirmed by a heartwarming interaction on Wednesday (April 3). The hip-hop stars quashed speculation of a feud with a series of photos tweeted by the 24-year-old “Munch” rapper, showcasing their time together at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars party in March. In the pictures, Ice Spice, the 31-year-old founder of Whipshots, flashes a peace sign while leaning in close, with Cardi B adding a caption that translates to “from mine” in English.

Cardi B retweeted the photos, accompanying them with three heart emojis.

The positive exchange followed a heated debate involving Cardi B and influencer Raymonte Cole about heritage, colorism, and public perception. At one point, Cardi responded to criticism, highlighting, “I asked you why you feel comfortable calling me a Mexican when Ice and Jharrel Jerome Zoe Saldana are Dominicans and you don’t do that to them.

Ice Spice responded directly to Cardi, saying, “No offense bardi its cus I have a Dominican parent & a Black one,” prompting clarification from the Love & Hip Hop alum: “My father is Dominican… I’m Dominican just like you. I also used other Dominicans as an example because as you should know a lot of times we get clustered into one because of the language.

Also can you send me that pic you took of me wit ya camera from Vanity Fair? Thank youuu.”

Cardi B recently featured on Shakira’s album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, contributing to the opening track “Puntería,” which reached No. 72 on the Billboard Hot 100. She also released singles earlier this year including “Enough (Miami)” and “Like What (Freestyle).
