There’s a single Libra on the loose, folks, and she’s lighting up her ex on the interwebs.

HRH Cardi B — the best of the Bronx, poet laureate of female lubrication and world-class spitfire — split from husband and apex Sagittarius Offset.

The news broke in early December amid accusations that he was unfaithful to her (again) with Pisces up-and-comer Chrisean Rock.

Never one for stoicism, Cardi took to Instagram to air her grievances and her high hopes for a brighter, better year ahead, declaring: “We keep saying every year, ‘New year, new me, new this, new that.’ Bitch, I’m taking that s–t to the f–king heart!”

After a duet on the luck-be-a-lady banger “Lick” and a Super Bowl first date, Cardi and Offset secretly married in September 2017 and have two children: daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, 5, and son Wave Set Cephus, 2. The pair parted ways in late 2018 before reconciling in early 2019.

In September 2020, Cardi filed for divorce but called off the proceedings two months later. Throughout their relationship, both parties have accused each other of stepping out and sleeping around.

In one recent Instagram live story aimed at Offset, Cardi lamented, “This motherf––ker really liked to play games with me when I’m at my most vulnerable time, when I’m not the most confident, he liked to play games with me, because he knows I’m not an easy girl.”

And trust, folks, with sun and moon opposition and a grand cross of cardinal planetary chaos in her birth chart, she is not an easy girl.

In terms of sun signs, there’s an instant, effervescent attraction between a charm as a weapon, social savant Libra (Cardi) and a curious, free-wheeling, optimistic Sagittarius (Offset).

Elementally speaking, air like Cardi can either fuel the fire or blow out the proverbial birthday candles of mutable Sagittarius; I think we see evidence of both in this coupling.

The infernal nature of Cardi’s Aries moon was likely called to Offset’s dense concentration of mutable fire and, in particular, his bon vivant approach to life and self-expression.

But that which we are drawn to is not necessarily where we can draw from, and with Cardi’s astro energy ever ready to light the match that burns bond, she might be better served and better balanced by an earth sign or someone with a touch more fixed, enduring energy, than Offset.
