“So where do I start? Let me start it off right,” Cardi B began. “A lot of my fans drag me because they don’t like when I address things, especially when it’s people below me trying to pick a fight. But sometimes, you gotta bite back.”
Cardi B then explained the situation with Bia. “I put out a record sampling Missy Elliott, and this girl, Bia, subbed me on Twitter. I ignored it at first because it was just a vague sub. But she thought I copied her because she has a song with the same beat. That’s why I posted the date I recorded my song on Instagram, to show I did it last year.”
“The second time she subbed me, my name was mentioned, so I decided to address it. I got her number and called her. I recorded the conversation because you never know. It started nasty, both of us coming at each other. But then I called her back to clear things up, and we ended the conversation on a good note.”
Cardi B continued, “But after the ‘Enough’ video came out, she subbed me again, claiming I copied her music video. I showed my creative mood board from last year to prove I didn’t copy anything. I ignored her again. Then she released a remix throwing slugs at me. I knew then she just wanted beef.”
Cardi B revealed another incident. “A girl from Atlanta, a friend of me and Offset, told my team there was a rumor about a se.x tape of me. I was like, ‘Impossible.’ I even offered a million dollars for anyone who could produce it. I called the people involved, and they denied it. But the producer stood by his story that Bia mentioned it.”
“Then Bia put out a diss track, making it clear she was spreading those lies. I’m going to sue her for lying about my marriage. People can diss me all they want, but lying about my husband will get you sued. You need receipts for that kind of claim.”
Cardi B addressed the overall situation, “I tried to handle it professionally, but Bia kept dissing me and lying. She’s beneath me, but when you mess with my family, that’s beyond rap. I’m rich, successful, and my marriage isn’t perfect, but my man supports me. For her to lie about my husband is pure jealousy.”
“To all my fans, go stream Bia’s music. She needs the streams. I have all the receipts, and I’m ready to put them out if needed. I’m done with this for now. My chef is waiting, and I’m going to eat. Stop playing with me.”
