Cardi B Explains Why She Was ‘Afraid’ to Drop Music in 2023

In addition to her run-in with the law,  Cardi has appeased her fans by releasing new music. Her latest track, “Enough (Miami),” is a reminder that she is still one of the rap game’s biggest stars and she put everyone on notice with the scorching-hot track.

During an interview on 360 with Speedy, Cardi shared that she “lost herself” in 2023 because of the harsh criticism that she faced which caused her to be fearful of releasing new music.

“I just feel like I lost myself with everything, you know, like, a lot of music commenters and everything and a lot of people just be like, you know, ‘She’s afraid to drop an album, she’s afraid to drop music,’” Cardi said. “Last year, I barely dropped music.
