Cardi B proudly posts 'no filter, hair not brushed' video as she slams haters for criticizing her choice to not wear makeup: 'I feel good'

She’s never been afraid to be open and honest with her millions of followers.

And Cardi B proudly displayed her filter-free face while slamming online trolls in a new video shared to Instagram on Tuesday morning.

After just waking up to another busy day, the 28-year-old rapper admitted she ‘feels good’ despite the criticism for going makeup-free at times.

‘This is my face after wakin up 20 minutes ago, no filter, hair not brushed, lip chap all that,’ she captioned the clip. ‘I never been afraid to show my real self. When YOU ON TOP the miserable and the ugly love to screenshot pictures while you in motion then criticize your face.

‘I’m confident in my own skin,’ she added. ‘You b****es need to ask ya self if ya confidence in ya self enough that ya gotta try to bring b****es down for a hobby that’s winning and in their 20s.’

Cardi — who’s full name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar — was unafraid to reveal her true self as she addressed her 82 million followers.

‘This me with no make up, no filter, you can see all of the little blemishes on my face,’ she said. ‘I just woke up 20 minutes ago, didn’t even brush my hair … like I feel good.’

She let it be known that people who try to put her ‘confidence down’ would be met with little remorse.

‘I just wanted to let you know that I feel comfortable in my skin … that I’m great, that I’m happy, my records doing great,’ she said. ‘Just because you have so much hatred in your heart, that when I do great, you want to put it down. You can’t. I’m going to stay on top with this face, makeup or not.’

Cardi recently released her new single, Up, on Friday with more than 27 million people tuning in to see the music video.

Her debut studio album, Invasion of Privacy, earned her incredible accolades after its release in 2018 and she recently received another No. 1 song with her track WAP which featured Megan Thee Stallion.

‘I know I’m a role model because I know there’s a lot of women like me,’ she said. ‘At the end of the day, I know I’m a b***h that made it through because I work my ass off, not because luck fell on my thighs,’ she said during a recent interview with Billboard after earning the Woman of the Year award.
