The ‘I Like It’ singer left fans in the UK disappointed when she pulled out of the music festival with just days ahead.
Cardi B has shown off her painful looking swollen feet as she took time out of the limelight to recover from surgery and after cancelling live music events.
The 26-year-old mum-of-one took to social media on Saturday to show off her swollen feet – which ballooned after taking a flight.
Cardi – whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar – shared a photo of her feet resting up on a counter with strap marks all over her feet.
“Look how swollen my feet get every time I take flights my stomach gets even more puffy,” she wrote on the painful image.
She also hit out at those who had suggested she had cancelled a string of live music events due to low ticket sales.
“Reasons why my doctor told me to chill on shows cause my feet and stomach burn when I get puffed up NOT due to ticket sales.Stop fakin s*** f*** outta here,” the star raged.
Cardi had been due to perform at Parklife Festival in Manchester this weekend – but pulled out to recover from plastic surgery.
“The Parklife team have just been notified that Cardi now also needs to pull out of Parklife this weekend. As such there will be some changes to the previously advertised lineup, stage splits, and times. We are working on this currently,” they added.
“My doctor was like, ‘Yo, you cannot be doing all these shows because you’re not fully healed and I keep telling you this and then if something happens to you, you gonna to try to blame me,” Cardi said via Instagram at the time.
It’s been a tricky few months for Cardi who has seen her popularity take a hit since winning five Grammy’s back in February.
The following month, video surfaced showing the rap star bragging about drugging men and robbing them after they passed out in her previous life as a stripper.
The admission led to many demanding the star be put on trial and jailed for her crimes – however this has failed to happen.
Cardi defended her actions saying “I needed to do [it] to make a living”.
