Chicago Sky shooting guard Chennedy Carter doesn’t appear remorseful after her nasty foul on Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark during Saturday’s clash.

Plenty of WNBA fans had marked the contest between the two teams on their calendars, as it was the first meeting between Clark and Angel Reese in the pros. However, Carter vs. Clark has been dominating the headlines instead.

Carter had a game to remember as she enjoyed a 19-point performance to lead all scorers. But the Sky could not come up with the win, falling to 3-4 with a 71-70 loss.

The Fever won their second game of the season, their first at home, to go 2-8. Still, the biggest talking point stemmed from late in the third quarter, when Chennedy hit a jumper and then hit Caitlin with a hefty body check while she was waiting for the inbound pass.

It appears the referees didn’t frown on the move as it was adjudged to be a common foul, with Clark being awarded one free throw.

Chennedy Carter is Not Sorry

Chennedy Carter  refused to discuss the foul or Caitlin Clark during the postgame presser, telling reporters, “I ain’t answering no Caitlin Clark questions.”

She has since liked multiple tweets praising her body check on Clark.

It appears many people liked what they saw, though many are calling on the WNBA to do something about the rough treatment the former Iowa star has been receiving since getting drafted.
