It now seems like his onstage performances too have been marred by a lot of technical issues of late. The singer who is currently on a tour across the country, has been subjected to malfunctions on stage not once, but twice in a week, causing him to walk out mid-way through his concert. Fans have taken to social media to comment on his predicament.

This Grammy Winner Is Unable To Escape His Stage Woes

Chris Brown is currently regaling fans across North America with his 11:11 tour which is hitting the length and breadth of the country. The popular R&B singer has a solid fan base thanks to his talent despite being a controversial figure outside of music. Not once but twice in the tour, Brown has been a victim of stage malfunction that has left him stranded during his performances. The first incident occurred on the 12th of June during the New Jersey leg when the Under the Influence crooner was suspended mid-air as part of an ariel stunt and couldn’t get back down (via That grape Juice). This led to him awkwardly having to jump back down on stage.

While one would assume that this was a one-off incident, as luck would have it, the Grammy winner was subjected to another faux pas while performing in the following week (via Pop Base). While the singer was dancing and singing to New Flame, the boxed stage below him suddenly descended a level lower. Looking completely perplexed, he immediately walked off as the lights dimmed.

With many fans still waiting to see the artist perform his famous numbers live, it now remains to be seen how quickly these technical glitches are fixed as the concert moves on to the remaining cities.

Given Brown’s behavioral history which saw him having backstage meltdowns, being pulled up for bar brawls, and his infamous felony charge and subsequent 5 year probation for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna (via People), a cross-section of fans were rather brutal in their assessment of his current situation.
