There wasn’t anything on the line for the Chiefs during Sunday’s game against the Chargers at SoFi Stadium, but the players still were overjoyed on the sideline in the third quarter.

That’s because defensive tackle Chris Jones sacked Chargers quarterback Easton Stick and reached a key incentive in his contract.

Jones came into Sunday’s game with 9 1/2 sacks. That contract incentive will pay him $1.25 million for having 10 sacks, as Fox Sports noted. Jones was fired up when he got the sack and so were his teammates.

This was a great moment from Sunday’s game as Jones ran to the sideline and rolled on the ground while teammates literally jumped for joy.

Jones worked hard from the start of Sunday’s game to get that sack. He had four quarterback hits and a tackle for loss in addition to the sack.

After getting the sack, Jones gave coach Andy Reid a big hug.
