LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Blake Shelton is fully supportive of Taylor Swift’s romance with Travis Kelce! The country music star shared his views on the couple’s relationship during his appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ on Thursday, September 19.
Having been married to No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani since 2021, Shelton is no stranger to the public attention surrounding a high-profile couple.
Blake Shelton expresses confidence in Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance
When host Pat McAfee asked Shelton if he believes in Swift and Kelce’s love story, he responded without hesitation: “I do, man.” Shelton emphasized that when a couple is open about their relationship, it speaks volumes about their feelings for each other.
“I think when you’re willing to just come out and just kind of put it in everybody’s face that you’re together and you’re owning it, that’s something that Gwen and I did,” he explained.

He praised Swift and Kelce for their public displays of affection, noting, “The fact that they’re going there shows that they’re probably super into each other, and proud of each other in their accomplishments.”
Swift has been a regular at the Kansas City Chiefs games this NFL season, supporting Kelce since they began dating in mid-2023. Conversely, Kelce has been spotted at Swift’s concerts, including an onstage appearance during her Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in London earlier this year.
Blake Shelton impressed by Travis Kelce’s charisma
Though Shelton admitted he has only interacted with Kelce “once or twice,” he left those encounters with a strong impression of the football star’s charisma. “He’s a standout no matter where he is or what he’s doing,” the “God’s Country” singer remarked.
“He’s just got this big personality; he’s a funny guy. He walks into the room and he has a presence there, you know, so there’s never going to be that moment where he’s in the shadows anyway, just because of his charisma and his personality.”
Shelton added that Kelce always “owns the moment, whatever that is.” He concluded with high praise for the NFL star: “I love his personality. He’s a ton of fun.”
With Shelton’s endorsement, it seems the love story between Swift and Kelce has a powerful supporter in the country music world!
