Jason Kelce is not going to have his name thrown around in the mud.

The former NFL pro has been going viral after his friend Beau Allen shared a photo of the Philadelphia Eagles alum sitting down with his eyes closed in the stands.

The seven-time Pro Bowler, six-time first-team All-Pro, and a key figure in the EaglesEagles’ Super Bowl LII 41-33 victory over the New England Patriots is defending himself against rumors that he had fallen asleep while Taylor Swift was performing on stage at her concert.

During the latest installment of his and Travis Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast, the Chiefs tight end, who’s been dating Swift since 2023, called out Jason for appearing to be asleep while sitting in a private suite at Hard Rock Stadium on Friday.

“It’s the greatest show that’s ever been on stage and you’re over here falling asleep?” Travis asked.

Jason Kelce then explained he wasn’t sleeping and was instead taking a beat in his seat because he felt like he was “in a fish bowl” with so many people watching him while at the concert.

“The amount of energy was insane. It was so exciting,” Jason Kelce said. “But back to this photo. I’m going to give a little background to this. So, Kylie is holding Elliotte [their daughter]. Ellie was just with me, we were dancing, and I was sitting down so I’m on the same level with her, and we’re out in the middle of the open right here, and we brought a bunch of people to the show… and mom [Donna Kelce] went for the first time.

“We go out there and we realize like I’m in the middle of the open, it isn’t like a box that’s enclosed. So I’m like, I’m going to sit down… I felt like I’m standing, I’m holding Ellie, feel like I’m kind of in a fish bowl, everybody’s staring at me, so I sit down. I’m dancing with Ellie, Ellie goes over to Kylie, and then I’m just sitting here and feeling it, and I’m tapping my thigh, and I’m just in the moment listening to the song, and then, all of a sudden, I go on Twitter [now X], and I see this f–king picture. I’m like, dude, what the f–k?

He then showed that his hand in the photo was hovering above his knee, which proved he was not asleep.

“My hand is hovering,” Jason insisted of the image. “You can’t sleep with your hand hovering above your knee! It’s impossible!”

Jason Kelce Made it Clear That Taylor Swift Killed It While It Was Raining During Concert

Jason Kelce was wide awake when it comes to the rumor that he fell asleep while taking in Taylor Swift’s recent “Eras Tour” concert at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium last week.

He clarified that he wasn’t while revealing that “the amount of energy was insane” at the show.

He even stated that he texted his brother halfway through to let him know that his girl was killing it, even when it started raining.

“This Miami show was incredible. I don’t know if it’s because we’re back in the U.S. because I think the London crowd was incredible, but the rain. Dude, it was on another level,” Jason Kelce stated.

“I texted you halfway through it, ‘This rain, Tay is killing it.’ Dude, when ‘Reputation’ came on and she came out in a new outfit and the rain was coming down, the place could have f–king erupted. I mean, it did. The amount of energy was insane. It was so exciting.”
