Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys have failed in the postseason once again.

The Cowboys have won 36 regular-season games under Mike McCarthy. They’ve won just one playoff game.

After the game, Prescott showed support for head coach Mike McCarthy following Sunday’s 48-32 wild-card home loss to the Green Bay Packers.
“He’s been amazing,” Prescott said of McCarthy postgame, according to Joseph Hoyt of LoneStarLive.com. “I don’t know how there could be (speculation about McCarthy’s future). I understand the business, and in that case, there should be (speculation) about me as well.

“I’ve had the season I’ve had because of that guy. This team has had the success it has had because of him. I understand it’s about winning the Super Bowl. That’s the standard of the league and that’s damn sure the standard of this place.”

The Packers controlled Sunday’s matchup from start to finish and scored the contest’s first 27 points and never looked back.

Prescott completed 41 of 60 pass attempts for 403 yards and three touchdowns against two interceptions, with one of them being a pick-6. He was outplayed by Jordan Love, who was 16-for-21 passing with 272 yards and three TDs in his first playoff start.

Prescott was an MVP contender during the regular season after leading the NFL with 36 TD passes. He has posted a 73-41 regular-season record since joining the Cowboys as a fourth-round pick in 2016 but he saves his worst for last as he holds a record of 2-5 in the playoffs.
