Veteran wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was quick to shut down speculation that he and the Tennessee Titans may part ways this offseason.

The @NFLRums X/Twitter account posted that the five-time Pro Bowl wide out and Tennessee could part ways this offseason. It’s important to note that this has NOT been reported by any reputable NFL insiders.

And Hopkins let the account know that a departure from Tennessee simply isn’t on the table, responding to the post by writing, “Cap!!!”:

Hopkins signed a two-year deal with the Titans in 2023 free agency following his release from the Arizona Cardinals, who were unable to find a trade partner for the perennial Pro Bowler. In his first year with the Titans, Hopkins hauled in 75 receptions for 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns.

The Titans are entering a retooling phase with new head coach Brian Callahan, who replaces Mike Vrabel at the position. Star running back Derrick Henry and quarterback Ryan Tannehill, both pending free agents, are not expected to be re-signed.

But at this time, it seems as though the 31-year-old Hopkins is keen on helping the Titans during their rebuild as they transition towards a new era with young QB Will Levis.
