Before Super Bowl LIX kicked off on Sunday, Indiana Fever star and Kansas City Chiefs fan Caitlin Clark had fans talking about her own football skills.

That’s right. Clark is not only a great shooter of the basketball. That marksmanship apparently also applies to throwing the football, as she proved during a Gatorade event in New Orleans.

Clark participated in a target practice session at the Gatorade Lab on Saturday, during which she was asked to throw the football at multiple targets while wearing what the brand called “dehydration goggles” and without them.

Naturally, the Fever guard didn’t do well while wearing the goggles. But without them, Clark showed her pinpoint accuracy, hitting her targets with ease.

Gatorade’s video of the target practice trended online, with many heaping praise on Caitlin Clark’s athletic ability.

“She has a cannon!!” a commenter wrote.

Another one said, “That is unbelievable.”

“She can sling it pretty good,” a fan added.

Another poster said, “Of course she can! She can do anything!”

“My goat does it all,” a social media user further stated.

A sixth supporter shared, “Female quarterback is here.”

It has certainly been an interesting offseason for Clark. After her first WNBA campaign ended, she has ventured into golf and even participated in a pro-am event. Now, she’s even doing football. Considering her Kansas City Chiefs fandom, though, it’s no surprise she knows a lot about the sport.
