Sean “Diddy” Combs is set to spend Thanksgiving behind bars and details of his holiday meal have surfaced.
While many will gather with loved ones for traditional turkey dinners on Thursday, the once-iconic rapper and music mogul will mark the day inside Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC). Diddy, known for his opulent lifestyle of champagne and caviar, has been held at the facility since his arrest on September 16.
The founder of Bad Boy Records was taken into custody by Homeland Security Investigations at a New York City hotel. He faces serious federal charges, including allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.
According to BBC News, Diddy—real name Sean Combs—has been denied bail on multiple occasions. He remains in custody awaiting a trial slated for May 5, 2025.
Now, TMZ has shared the menu for Thanksgiving at the MDC, where Diddy will experience a decidedly different holiday meal. The detention center appears to be embracing the festive spirit, offering a special Thanksgiving menu.
Breakfast will consist of fruit, cereal, pastries, and skim milk. Lunch is the centerpiece of the day, featuring a choice between turkey roast or hot & sour tofu, alongside mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, cranberry sauce, turkey gravy, dinner rolls, and holiday pies. Dinner, however, will be much simpler: a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, potato chips, whole wheat bread, and a fruit beverage.
While this meal might seem festive by jail standards, it pales in comparison to what Diddy might have enjoyed as a free man.
At his last bond hearing, he proposed staying in an Upper East Side apartment if granted bail, where he could have indulged in a more extravagant spread.
Diddy’s legal troubles extend beyond his arrest. Over the past few months, he has faced over two dozen lawsuits alleging a range of misconduct, including rape, underage assaults, intimidation, and sexual extortion. Diddy denies all accusations and has pleaded not guilty.
In a statement, his representatives said he and his legal team “have full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process.”
Diddy’s legal team has pushed for a $50 million bond, offering his Miami Beach mansion as collateral and agreeing to 24/7 monitoring. Despite these measures, his requests have been repeatedly denied.
