Caitlin Clark got poked in the eye and had the mark to show for it.
The WNBA superstar fell to the ground in pain 90 seconds into the game after she was poked in the right eye by Conneticut guard DiJonai Carrington in Game 1 of the first-round playoff matchup between the Fever and Sun.

No foul was called and play continued as Clark was in obvious pain from the play.

Clark briefly went to the bench quickly after the Fever called a timeout, but she never left the game because of the eye poke.
While Clark didn’t think the injury created an issue with her shooting, she shot just 23.5 percent from the field and put up just 11 points in her first WNBA Playoff game.
