Marshall’s classic just hit a new milestone. An iconic music video for “Just Lose It” has now been viewed over 300 million times on YouTube.

“Just Lose It” marks his 23rd video (across all credits) to reach this impressive view count.

Released in 2004 as the lead single for “Encore”, “Just Lose It” quickly became a cultural phenomenon. While the song itself is a hilarious romp through pop culture cliches, it also sparked controversy due to its pointed references to Michael Jackson, who was facing child molestation accusations at the time.

The video itself is a wild ride, filled with hilarious parodies of pop culture icons. We see Eminem take on MC Hammer, Pee-wee Herman, Madonna, blink-182, and even Santa Claus (with a special cameo by Tony Cox from “Bad Santa”). There’s also a rap battle scene featuring Eminem vs. himself, a nod to his iconic movie, “8 Mile”. It also features cameos from celebrities like Paris Hilton, Erik Estrada, and even Eminem’s “8 Mile” co-star, Mekhi Phifer.

“Just Lose It” may not have taken home the MTV Video Music Award for Best Rap Video (losing to Ludacris’ “Number One Spot”). Still, it made history as the No.1 most controversial music video on MuchMusic’s “50 Most Controversial Videos” list.

Nearly two decades later, “Just Lose It” remains a hilarious and unforgettable music video. With 300 million views and counting, it’s a clear reminder of Eminem’s ability to shock, entertain, and leave a lasting mark on pop culture.
