Football fans were all making the same joke about Sam Hartman after a slo-mo video of his 40-yard dash went viral.
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish quarterback ran a 40-yard dash time of 4.8 seconds at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis on Saturday. But it was hardly Hartman’s stellar dash time that broke the internet.
Rather, it was this slo-mo video that captured his slick flow that led to all sorts of hilarious comments from social media:
The 24-year-old Hartman played for Wake Forest from 2018 to 2022 before transferring to Notre Dame for his final college season. In 2023, Hartman completed 63.5 percent of his pass attempts for 2,689 yards, 24 touchdowns and eight interceptions to go along with 123 rushing yards and a trio of rushing scores.
The 2024 NFL Combine wraps up on Monday, with NFL free agency slated to begin on Mar. at 4:00 p.m. EST. This year’s draft will be held in Detroit, Michigan and run from Apr. 25 to 27.
