Point guard Stephen Curry had to leave his East Bay house when the Golden State Warriors relocated from Oakland to San Francisco in 2019 due to the long commute. The team’s shift from Oakland to San Francisco was the reason behind the relocation. The NBA player and his wife Ayesha constructed a massive estate, which is currently for sale once more.
The Alamo area residence was completed in 2018 and sold for $6.4 million in an off-market transaction the following year, according to current proprietor Sam Hirbod, who talked with The Wall Street Journal. Curry’s former residence is currently for sale at an asking price of $8.9 million, following an additional three years of anticipation.
The roughly half-acre estate of the Curry family has six bedrooms and eight and a half bathrooms, along with a plethora of opulent facilities. Think of getting Ayesha a vegetable garden, Stephanie a home theater and pool table, and their kids a specially made playhouse.
Stephen Kubitschek was hired by the couple to supervise the home’s design. Hirbod asserts that Steph spent $500,000 on the media room, which has a top-of-the-line projector and cutting-edge sound system. Given Ayesha’s culinary prowess, the kitchen was outfitted with two distinct islands, premium Miele and Sub-Zero appliances, and exquisite European-style woodwork. There’s also a seven-car garage available for storing your collection.
