Fans spot what Jadon Sancho has posted on Instagram and it's got both Liverpool and Man Utd supporters talking

Jurgen Klopp recently commented on Erik ten Hag’s treatment of Sancho.

Jadon Sancho has left a comment about Jurgen Klopp on a recent Instagram post after the German weighed in on Manchester United’s decision to let the player leave.

It has been a long-running saga, to say the least.

Sancho, who said it was a “dream come true” to join United in 2021, was banished from their first-team in September last year after he responded to Erik ten Hag’s statement about his below-par performances in training.

He joined former club Borussia Dortmund on a six-month loan spell but returned to Carrington this summer.

In fact, Sancho was backed to “click” at United by Erik ten Hag, who was keen to “move on” from the situation that led the player to being ostracised from first-team training.

But after months of speculation surrounding his future, the 24-year-old joined Chelsea on transfer deadline day in a loan move that is set to be made permanent if a specific clause is met at the end of the season.

Sancho’s time at Old Trafford has sparked plenty of debate. Earlier this summer, former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp appeared to criticise the club’s treatment of Sancho during his farewell event.

Speaking on stage, he said: “If the whole world loses trust and faith in the player then the manager has to be the one behind the player.”

Klopp added: “I cannot just buy into that ‘he’s useless’ stuff like other clubs did by the way. Buying a player for £80 million and then sending him out on loan!”

The German’s comments about Sancho have resurfaced after the winger joined Chelsea.

And amid talk surrounding his move, the winger has publicly backed Klopp after he made a special return to the Westfalenstadion for the farewell match of Lukasz Piszczek and Jakub Blaszczykowski.

As you can see in the picture below, Sancho commented on a post of Klopp being serenaded by the Yellow Wall, saying: “Legend!”

Speaking about his return to Dortmund on Saturday, an emotional Klopp said: “It’s a lifelong dream come true. I wanted to have that again.

“Just a few months ago, I was given an emotional farewell in Liverpool. Today it was very emotional again.

“Some people might say that today he’s like this and tomorrow he’ll be like that. I explain it like this: when you have three children, you love them all. And that’s the same with my three clubs. I love them all.”
