The player was irritated by a challenge in training and threw off his shirt as he exited the field, reports say.
Former Manchester United flop Wout Weghorst was reportedly involved in a training ground bust up which left him “visibly annoyed” on Sunday.
The Netherlands were in action in the Nations League on Saturday, beating Bosnia and Herzegovina 5-2 at the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven.
Weghorst came off the bench to score the fourth but he and the rest of the substitutes and reserves participated in a session a day later.
But according to AD, Weghorst ended up getting into it with Arsenal star Jurrien Timber.
Weghorst, who had a brief loan spell at United in 2022, was furious with a late challenge from the defender in a small-sided game.
He felt it was a foul and proceeded to complain and protest about it, exchanging words with Timber while sat on the floor.
Manager Ronald Koeman got involved and explained, “I said something to you, I said something to them”.

As footage shared by ESPN shows, Weghorst continued to vent and tested Koeman’s patience, who is said to have shouted, “And now it’s over!”.
The 32-year-old took part in the final part of the session but is believed to have done so in an annoyed mood.

He was seen lounging on a mannequin and when the season finished and his teammates were still on the pitch, he did not waste any time in exiting the turf and removed his training shirt as he did.

Weghorst then got on a bike and rode back to the team hotel. On Weghorst leaving the pitch, Koeman is reported to have commented, “He has no injury”.
After cancelling a loan with Besiktas, Weghorst played 32 times for United and scored twice.
He spent last season at Hoffenheim and after two appearances for Burnley this term, finally left on a permanent transfer back to the Netherlands with Ajax.
