The Indiana Fever is well represented in the WNBA All-Star Weekend. Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston, and Kelsey Mitchell are all part of Team WNBA for the upcoming All-Star Game against the U.S. Women’s National Team.
The game itself is without a doubt the highlight of this two-day event, but there’s no denying that the entire experience is something that the players cherish, especially for a first-timer such as Clark.
For her part, the 22-year-old is just delighted to have the opportunity to take part in the festivities alongside her two Fever teammates.
“I feel very fortunate, very lucky to be able to share this experience with them,” Clark said of Boston and Mitchell. “… It’s really cool for our franchise. It’s something that’s really hard to accomplish. I think it shows where we’re going and what we’re capable of.”
Clark then could not help but get a bit emotional as she talked about how special it is to be with Boston and Mitchell during this milestone.
“Getting to share it with them, too, it’s a memory we’re going to share together forever,” she continued. “So just trying to soak it in and enjoy it.
“Obviously, my first time here, I don’t really know what to expect. So, just kind of following their lead, too.”
This may be her first time on the All-Star stage, but there’s surely going to be many more to come for Clark.
