France’s team news for the Euro 2024 game against Netherlands has been leaked.
France’s team has been leaked for their second Euro 2024 game against the Netherlands, with a decision made on Kylian Mbappe.
Les Bleus beat Austria courtesy of an own goal from Maximilian Wober on Monday but suffered a huge blow after talisman Mbappe broke his nose.
He was forced off after the collision with Kevin Danso and emerged as a major doubt for France’s upcoming fixtures.
Mbappe has been training with a mask in France’s colours to protect his nose.

But L’Equipe say that the Real Madrid superstar will not be risked from the off against the Dutch.

As per Matt Spiro on X, Mbappe will start as a sub. Mbappe’s imminent club teammate Aurelien Tchouameni is set to come in, with Didier Deschamps preferring an extra midfielder.
Arsenal’s William Saliba is expected to retain his place at centre-back alongside Dayot Upamecano.

In his press conference, Deschamps gave an update on Mbappe’s condition.
He said: “I can confirm that Kylian Mbappe is feeling better and all is evolving well to see him tomorrow.
“It’s moving in the right direction.”
Mbappe’s newly designed mask displayed in training contains all three colours of the French flag.

However, he will not able to wear that specific mask in games at Euro 2024.

UEFA rules state that medical equipment “must be a single colour and free of team and manufacturer identification”, with that piece of protective gear not meeting the criteria.
Any mask Mbappe is set to wear must be approved by UEFA beforehand and The Athletic say the French football federation do have masks which meet the regulations ready to go.
Mbappe failed to get on the scoresheet in his first game, spurning a clear opportunity after being played through.
With the 25-year-old set to be a sub, Antoine Griezmann is poised to start through the middle.
