Being excited as a fan to see one of your favorite players is one thing, but disrespecting them by tossing things at them is taking things way too far.

Fans showed up for the San Francisco 49ers in Vegas on Monday as the NFL kicked off Super Bowl week with its Media Opening Night. It was clear that there were way more 49ers fans in Vegas for media night than Chiefs fans. It shouldn’t be too shocking since the Bay Area is much closer in distance than Kansas City.

49ers tight end George Kittle was in a joking mood on this night but something would happen that would wipe his smile away.

As he was looking up toward the bleachers at his fan base, he as soon swarmed by dozens of jerseys as they all began to toss them at him for him to sign his autograph.

Kittle looked upset as he began to bend down and pick them up.

This season, Kittle caught 65 passes for 1,020 yards and 6 TDs in 16 games before getting Week 18 off to rest before the postseason.

He has been hit or miss in recent weeks, posting receiving lines of 29 yards, 81 yards, and 27 yards in his last 3 games. The team would love for him to be a hit on Sunday against the Chiefs.

The San Francisco 49ers (14-5) and Kansas City Chiefs (14-6) are preparing for Super Bowl LVIII, which will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas Sunday.
