NY Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito made a free appearance at Coniglio’s Old Fashioned Pizzeria and took what was a PR nightmare and made it great as he did it on his own accord without being paid following a dispute over an appearance fee.

The New York Giants quarterback is having an impressive first NFL season as fans from all fan bases are falling in love with his underdog story.

That story continued this week when a New Jersey legend and one in the making met when “Jersey Shore” star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito crossed paths at the Hobby Hive in East Hanover on Wednesday.

Hobby Hive owner Joe Gossweiler told Page Six that his appearance at his shop: “Tommy was awesome, taking his time taking pictures, giving autographs. There were a lot of kids.”

Sources at the event stated about 300 fans came out and one told the publication, “most of them were 7- to 15-years old. They were in awe” of the Giants star.

For the season, DeVito has completed 103 of 160 passes for 1,032 yards to go along with 8 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.

While Big Blue’s recent resurgence has helped remove the bad vibes of this season, the Giants are still highly unlikely to make the postseason this year.

New York has already been eliminated from winning the NFC East, so its only route to the playoffs will be via a Wild Card entry.
