Taylor Swift’s visit to Foxboro marks her seventh game cheering on her boyfriend, tight end Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs as they took on the New England Patriots. The Chiefs won, 27-17.
Kelce and Swift have been dating for a few months and there have already been rumors of them possibly getting engaged before the year is over.
Swift has come up as a topic of conversation many times on the podcast he hosts with his brother, Jason, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles.
We bring that up because the newest swirling rumor on social media is stating that the pop star hasn’t even met Jason Kelce or his wife, Kylie.
That is insane if true.
Swift has already met Kelce’s mother and father so it would be almost impossible that she hasn’t met his brother yet.
Swift, who is on a break from her Eras Tour, is expected to be in Missouri with Kelce for the holidays as the Chiefs are playing at Arrowhead on Christmas against the Las Vegas Raiders as well as on New Year’s Eve against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Kelce has enjoyed success on the field with his love story unfolding in front of NFL and Swift fans this season. The Chiefs are 5-2 when Swift attends a game, while Kelce has 49 catches for 624 yards (89.1 yards per game) and two touchdowns in those contests.
He most recently had five catches for 28 yards in Kansas City’s win over the New England Patriots.
READ MORE: Patrick Mahomes sends clear message to Taylor Swift about Travis kelce
On Sunday afternoon, the Kansas City Chiefs had a special fan in Arrowhead Stadium as Taylor Swift was in attendance to watch Travis Kelce – her newest romantic interest. But it sounds like Kelce wasn’t the only one who might have been feeling a little extra pressure to perform with the pop superstar in attendance.
Following the game, Patrick Mahomes discussed the presence of Taylor Swift at the game, making it clear that he certainly noticed her. “Yeah, I heard she was in the house,” Mahomes said during the postgame interview.
“Do you realize how much pressure was on you from the Swifties to get Travis Kelce a touchdown with Taylor in the house today?” – Erin Andrews to Patrick Mahomes. pic.twitter.com/6ZqPfbQtK8 — Awful Announcing (@awfulannouncing) September 24, 2023
Mahomes was asked if he felt a little bit of extra pressure to get Kelce a touchdown knowing that Swift was watching, and he admitted that he did. “Yeah, I felt the pressure,” Mahomes said. “So I knew I had to give it to Trav. And of course, Travis, he does his own thing and just makes up a route and I just throw it to him. I think he wanted to get into the end zone just as much as the Swifties wanted him to.”
The Chiefs had one of their best performances of the season with Swift in attendance, so maybe they’ll hope she attends all of the games this year.
