The 66th Grammy Awards ceremony is taking place at Crypto.com Stadium in Los Angeles (USA) with the participation of a series of famous stars.

The 2024 Grammy Awards is expected to be the rise of a series of female stars, led by SZA with 9 nominations and only Batiste is the male artist receiving 6 or more nominations. The imbalance doesn’t stop there as in the top three compilation categories of 24 nominations, only three went to recordings by a male artist and again, the artist who did this was still Batiste.

Even experts and audiences believe that the 2024 Grammy can become a historic night for a female artist by breaking records and winning. Billie Eilish, for example, could be the first female singer to win Record of the Year three times if she wins. Or Taylor Swift could officially become the artist with the most awards in the history of the Grammy Awards in the Album of the Year category. Kelly Clarkson also has a chance to become the first person to win Best Pop Album three times. However, it should be added that this year’s Best Pop Album nomination is an extremely fierce “battle” with candidates like Olivia Rodrigo, Ed Sheeeran and Taylor Swift.

In addition, the Barbie soundtrack can also make history with its 12 nominations.

2024 marks the fourth consecutive time that Trevor Noah returns as host of the Grammy Awards. This year, the Academy has made changes in category nominations to match the spirit of diverse music. Three new awards were also added: Best Pop Dance Performance, Best African Music Performance and Best Alternative Jazz Album.
